HaLlOwEeN Festivities

This year for Halloween was truly the most fun we have had yet! Weston LOVES all the fun festivities and got totally into it, which makes it all the more fun for me.
The Wednesday before Halloween we decided to hit up Boo at the Zoo. This is tradition that we never miss, especially since my mom is in charge of the whole event.
Weston was a hunter. This is seriously his more favorite thing ever! Everyday he asks if we can go shoot guns, and he loves the camo outfit we  got for him, because it's "just like daddy's". All we had to do was add a bow, and I made him a beanie, and we were good to go!

Dad did the camo job on his face... he's awesome :)

Sitting at the costume contest...

This little man won 3rd place in his costume contest category! The category was 0-3 year olds, and we were shocked that he won because he can turn down 6 month old babies in costumes!? But he was so excited, he won socks with "bugs in it" aka socks with a spider on them, and then a zoo book. SO CUTE!

Dano and her roommate

I'd say the face paint did ok given the 3 hours of face rubbing :)
On Halloween we wanted to make it fun, so for breakfast I made ghost pancakes, which Weston loved, and now every morning since he asks for them. We did lunch with Rob during his break, and then that evening went to Neena's and Gop-ga's for donuts, cider, and pinatas!

Our house on Hallweeen, I love Weston in the corner :)

His face is priceless :)

And then it was the big boys turn

The next morning we went shooting with the family, minus Dano and Seianna. It was SO much fun! Weston was content to play in the back of the truck with the earplugs on... haha!

It was a holiday for the books! We loved getting to spend the time with family, listen to Weston say Trick or Treat over and over and over again, and watch his face light up with excitement over all the lights and costumes and adventures!
