Trip to Salt Lake City

Last weekend we got the chance to go to Salt Lake with my family to see the lights. We all stayed in a suite, which the boys loved having all the family to play with. On Saturday we spent the day shopping. Weston LOVED Gateway. He had so much fun playing at the fountain with Brady. He finally got brave enough to run across on his own, and got soaked! But he still loved it... even though that traumatized him a little bit.

As it got later we did Temple Square. Colton was mesmerized by the lights, and Weston was so tired he fell asleep in Jadens arms. So funny!

The weekend was a whirlwind, I'm sad we didn't get more pictures. But Weston is still asking to go back to "Utah" and talking about the fountain, so I'm going to say it was a success :)

*~*~Winter Wonderland*~*~

This snowy last month or so has been so much fun! I love Christmas time. Weston has been obsessed with snow and was very impatient for it to snow enough to make a snowman. The day that it finally snowed enough he was going CRAZY! I told him he had to wait for his dad, so at 7:00 that night when Rob got home Weston started freaking out wanting to out out to play, so Rob patiently got out his snow stuff, and out they went! I love that man :) Colton and I went out for a bit, just long enough for Colton to realize it was cold and that he didn't love it and we were back inside. Rob and Weston ended up building an entire snow family! Complete with Bors and everything.  Robs snowman fell over that night, so I'm really glad I ran back out in the cold to get the picture of the two of them.

We also went sledding a few days after this. Weston wanted to go SO bad, but fell asleep so by the time he woke up it was basically dark outside. We still went, but apparently Weston was confusing sledding with a water slide (I have NO idea how that happened) so he went down twice and was done. It was too dark for pictures, but Colton LOVED it. He went down with Rob and was squealing and so excited. It only lasted probably 15 minutes, but it was still fun.

And then last night we went and saw Santa. The town does this awesome fundraiser where if you bring a can of food for the food bank you get to see Santa, and his reindeer! It was so so fun. I was super impressed with how well it went, we were only in line for probably 10 minutes. SO awesome. I tried to prepare Weston for this so he wouldn't freak out. He was still a little hesitant, but he did really good considering he's not fond of strangers. Colton on the other hand usually goes to anyone, anytime, anywhere... but he was NOT a fan of Santa. Poor kid, but everyone needs that sad Santa pic I guess, right?

And this is just my favorite picture ever. I love these boys. And they love the Christmas tree.... too much ;)

~CoLtOn'S fIrSt BiRtHdAy!!!~

Seriously, how has it already been a year?! I just don't know where this year has gone, but I am so thankful that we got it. Colton is such a blessing!!! I cannot imagine my life without this little man :) Here is an update on Colton:

He has four teeth, working on two more.

He can walk, and is basically running.

He LOVES his daddy!!

And loves Bors... a lot.

Loves playing with his brother, his brothers toys, and moms cooking utensils.

Can say: Mom, Wow, and Bors. ... on rare occasions we can get him to say dad.

Loves all food. Seriously, as long as he's eating he's always happy. It takes a lot of work to keep up that kind of physique. :P

Loves to snuggle, but yet is always on the move.

Wears his emotions on his sleeve. You always know exactly how he's feeling.

He can wrap anyone he meets around his finger immediately because of his big eyes.

Will go to anyone that is willing to hold him. Stranger danger means nothing to him if you are willing to snuggle with him.

Is finally wearing 18 month clothes, but the pants are still HUGE... is barely a 12 month pants because he's so short :)

His doctors apt is next week, so we'll know weight and height then.

Here are his pics from today! It was such a crazy day getting things ready for Thanksgiving, and the poor kid is teething like crazy. But I think he had a good day overall.

3rd Annual Pumpkin Patch Trip :)

Ok seriously, have I ever mentioned how much I love this tradition? Pretty sure my husband thinks it's ridiculous how excited I get to go and pick a pumpkin up off the ground, but he's patient with me and goes anyways ;) This year was SO much fun! I love that the boys are old enough to enjoy this stuff, so it's not JUST me freaking out about it :)

Love this man. Pretty sure I get this exact picture every year ;)

Colton seriously thought it was awesome

And this was the scenery for the night

Pretty sure I say this almost every post... Those Eyes Though!

Weston and I got to do the train

So not a good picture (especially of me) but it's the best we got

As we left Weston pushed the card o the car all by himself, while Colton waved to everything in sight <3
