Waterfalls, Thunder Storms, and Square Ice Cream

This last weekend was epic. And very Exhausting. But mostly epic. We realized that our weekends are going to keep getting crazier for the next few months, so we wanted to have as much fun this weekend as possible with the boys.
Friday after Rob got off work we went fishing. A work buddy of Rob's showed us a new place that Weston LOVES to run around and play at. We haven't caught a fish there yet, but it is still so fun that we don't even are :)

Saturday morning we were up early on our way for an adventure :) We started up in Heice/Kelly Canyon area. We stopped for a small hike to stretch our legs, and eat some lunch.

look at these boys :)
After lunch it started to thunder and rain pretty good, so we decided to get back in the car and continue on. We ended up in Swan Valley where I have heard of this epic waterfall, but never actually seen it. Of course Rob knew right where it was :)

SO pretty! And the boys that it was awesome. Again the rain started to catch up to us, so we decided since we were so close to the store, we had to stop for some square ice cream.

We ate the ice cream in the thunderstorm, and finally headed back home. We were home by 4, and everyone was pretty exhausted. Colton was even cuddly. I napped with Colton while Weston and Rob watched Finding Nemo.

It was such a fun day! The boys had a blast, and loved that we actually got to take Bors. Such a fun weekend.

And from earlier this week, just some fun pics :)
working on our food storage

this kid LOVES the splash pad. He gets more wet than Weston almost everytime :)

And Colton got to try watermelon for the first time. He kind of loved it... a lot

*~*~*JuLy FoUrTh!!!*~*~*

Ok seriously the 4th of July is my favorite holiday next to Christmas. The kids have SO much fun, the vibe is awesome, and who doesn't love sunburns?! I was the only one that got sunburned... so that is a plus :P
This year was awesome. It is so fun watching Weston as he gets older and more into this stuff, and it is fun doing it all with Colton for the first time. They both loved the day and were beyond exhausted when it was finally over.
We started off at the parade. It is so fun for the little kids, and I kind of love it too :) There was much sunscreen needed, but it was perfect.

Sadly this is the best family picture that we got

It kills me that he's old enough to just sit in his chair and chill

And this kid is so huge I just can't even believe it

Weston LOVED the parade. Clapping, waving, getting candy... yeah. It's his thing.

Colton passed out without making a peep. Talk about over stimulation

After the parade we headed to my parents house for the day. We played in the pool (hence my sunburn), did some archery, and of course, fireworks!

He's been teething... for the last 3 months :/

Again passed out without any issue, it was kind of awesome :)

My man working his archery skills :)

Seriously trying to get these two to do pictures together is ridiculous!!!

Weston was obsessed with the fireworks. He loved the sparklers, and Rob seriously bought him a huge box of pop its that he went through within like 2 hours.

Colton loved watching the bright lights

Overall, it was an amazing day. I think the only thing that could have made it better was if it was 10 degrees colder, but other than that, perfect! I already can't wait until next year to do it with a 3 and 1 year old!
