*4th Of July Recap*

This 4th of July was so much fun. I am loving that Weston is getting more and more excited about things, and really enjoys the things we do. This year we decided to make shirts for all of us. I made mine while Weston napped and Rob was at work, and although it is cool, I totally wish I would have done what they did. It was SO CUTE.

We started off July 4th by waking up at 5:30 in the morning. Weston and I went to the parade with my family since Jaden was performing in the parade, and Rob decided to go shooting with his brother Nate so we decided to divide and conquer. I do not have pictures of Rob's shooting adventures, but he said everyone had a good time :)

Nana brought donuts and fruit for breakfast, and this boy loves his oranges

The floats were throwing out very minimal candy this year which was a bummer, but once that boy got two flags that he could wave around, all was good in the world.

Isn't she so cute :)

The combination of waking up early, and totally melting in the heat knocked that boy out before we were even half way home.
After the parade we headed home so Weston could take a good nap. Rob got home close to the same time, and we all ended up crashing for a few hours. Once Weston woke back up we were back on our way to Nana and Gop-Ga's to get in the pool. After the pool (it's not Weston's favorite this year) we just hung out outside for awhile eating and doing daytime fireworks. My dad did dutch oven prime rib for dinner and it was divine :) Once it started getting a bit darker we did a fire to get rid of some cardboard, Weston and Rob ended up making a fort...sort of.

Finally once it was dark we did some fountains. After Driggs last weekend I think Weston was kind of confused because it was not nearly as intense, but he still loved the "fire-erks" :)

Once it was over we quickly headed home to get a very exhausted child who was still slightly buzzed off Root Beer to bed. We were all exhausted and in the end it was a great day with family, enjoying the amazing day that it was :)
