Final Holiday Decor Is Up :)

I think I am finally content with this years decorations. I have had so much fun adding the last bit of Christmas Spirit to our home this year! My mom gets a lot of credit, she came up with some of the ideas, and helped me A LOT. I love my mom. She is amazing.

3D Snowflakes, so fun

totally my moms idea, and I love it!

My newest nativity. OOH I LOVE IT :)

And then just a few pics that needed to be added, they were too cute not to share :)

Reading time with dad before his haircut. I love his long hair, and miss it!

As soon as he realized he could crunch them up, he forgot they were for eating pretty quick :)

This video is just too funny to not post.

So am I a horrible mom for letting my kid jump on the couch? :)

Christmas decor is UP!

Christmas is hands down my most favorite time of the year. It makes my heart happy. The spirit of Christmas is one of those things that you just cannot live without. So needless to say the day after Thanksgiving (it would have been sooner, but that is the rule that I have agreed to) the boxes came out and we have been working on it ever since. I'm never really done decorating for Christmas. I get my normal stuff out, but I'm always getting new random little things to add. Here is what we've got so far :)

Yes you counted right, that is FIVE nativities so far. I love them. A lot. Merry Christmas everyone!

My Thankful List

Well, Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and it's got me thinking of all that I am grateful for. Where to start. I am thankful first and foremost for my heavenly father. He is so patient with me, and is always there when I need him.

I am thankful for my Robin. He is my other half. He is my sanity. My escape. My lover. My accomplice. My best friend. My companion. He is a daddy to our child, and a leader to this family.

I am thankful for my chunky monkey. Oh I did not know true joy until this bundle of energy came into our lives. He makes my day brighter every single day. He has opened my heart in a way I did not know was possible.

I am thankful for our families. Both sides have helped us in so many ways, and we always know that we can turn to any of them in a time of need. We depend on their love and guidance more then they know.

I am thankful for a warm home. Although I cannot guarantee it will always be clean, or organized, it is our haven. Our escape from the world. And it's ours.

I am thankful for our puppy. Although he is a pain sometimes, he makes this family whole. He loves our little boy, and would do anything for that little boy.

I am thankful for Rob's job. Although most of you do not know this, Rob started a new job on Moday. It was pretty sudden, and these past few weeks have been a whirlwind of craziness. However, the lord helped him find a job quickly and he is now working at NAPA auto parts. Hopefully this will help him with starting school in January, and treat him well.

His first day of work :)
I am thankful for school. I am FINALLY half way done, and Rob is just starting over again, school is bound to be in our lives for a few more years to come. I am thankful for the knowledge that we have the opportunity to learn from, and the paths that school leads us to.

I am thankful for doTERRA Essential Oils. They are slowly saving my husbands life. We still have a ways to go, but we are already so much closer then we were 3 months ago.

And last but definitely not least, I am thankful for all of our friends and neighbors. Everyone who is in our lives helps us in some way, and we can never tell you how much we appreciate all of you. Thank you for being there for us. Thank you for your patience with us. And thank you for all of the help and fun that you have given us throughout the years. You all make our lives brighter.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope you all get to enjoy your day of blessings with friends and family. Love you all!
