Camping

Oh the procrastination. Go figure working, doing school, and being a mom to TWO boys is keeping me a bit busy. :)
So for Memorial Day we decided to go camping with the family. It was really both of our boys first time going camping so we weren't sure what to expect.. but it went amazing! Everyone had so much fun and ever since Weston has asked almost every day if we can go camping again.

Grandpa set up the hammock, and both the boys LOVED it

A frog that Rob caught for Weston

Seriously Rob caught like 20 of these little guys. Didn't keep any, but he had a blast catching and releasing

It rained a lot of the time, but it was actually like nice, and Westu loved playing in the puddles

Rob and I saw a moose everyday we were there. This one walked right paste us as we were fishing

This is Westu's morning face :)

Colton absolutely loved it. But I'm pretty sure it was because he was never sat down. :)

I fell in the river. Definitely don't need to talk about, but I was stupid and fell in... and ruined my hubby's nice new hiking boots... yeah...

Our Tent :)

This moose basically wandered into our camp the last morning we were there.

Once we all got home and got clean, we were all pretty tired. Colton actually fell asleep like that.

And the rest of the boys quickly followed suit :)

And then just a quick catch up on some other cute pictures that need to be on the blog.

Colton was very helpful as we got ready for camping :)

naptime at church

This chunk loves sitting up by himself

Getting ready for the almost daily walk and bike ride

Weston playing in Neena and Gopga's pool as they are filling it up

This chubba bubba still doesn't sleep through the night... it's a good thing he's cute!

Weston did the Fun Run this year. The age group for him was 0-4 and he got 4th place! We were pretty impressed :)

These two make getting ready a very slow, and fun process everyday.

Sighting in my new hunting rifle... first shot :)

Colton lasted all of 7 minutes before he was passed out, but he loved it :)

Fish and Bears

Fishing time is back!!! Man I have missed it. Although we are having seriously bad luck this year catching a fish worth keeping, it has been the funnest year yet. Weston got a fishing pole for Christmas, so naturally he's been asking to go fishing ever since. He LOVES it. And I cannot believe how much Colton loves to be outside. He can be so grouchy and the second we go outside, all is better :) It has been so relaxing... well, as relaxing as it can be with a 2 year old and 5 month old :)

So on Saturday we decided to go to Bear World. Rob had never been, and we thought the boys would love it. It was perfect for us. In total we were only in the park for just over 2 hours, everyone still left happy, but we got to do a lot of fun things. Weston thought it was the coolest thing ever, and Colton was content to chill and look around the whole time :)

This is his "I don't want to smile for you mom" face

Weston LOVED petting the deer

and driving the choo choo train the pretty awesome :)

We let Weston pick a bear at the gift shop, and man was he happy :)

Over all it's been an amazing last month :) we have been going outside as often as possible, and have been LOVING the family time :)

Eggs, Hop, Bunny Rabbits, and Candy :)

So we have all been sickies over here. Well, all of us except Colton. I am seriously counting my blessings on that one. But Weston started throwing up one Monday, and it truly took him over a week to stop. I thought he was finally over it after about 4 days, and then he threw up again that night, and Rob and I woke up the next morning with it. It was horrible. Seriously horrible. I'm not sure how we all survived, but all I can say is avoid it if at all possible! That whole week basically consisted of Pedialite and movies. It was rough.

The only time we get cuddles like this is when he's sick... is it messed up of us to love it?

I was really lame and completely forgot about St. Patricks day until the day of. So.... we wore green. And that was about the extent of that. Oops

This last weekend being Easter/Conference was pretty chill. We watched conference at my parents house on Saturday, came home to colored eggs and watched Hop. Weston thought the eggs were the coolest things ever!

This is how gopga entertains the boys :)

So we turned Hop on and Weston was so excited... apparently the excitement wore him out :)

So Easter morning Weston woke up at like 6 because he needed to go to the bathroom... we took care of it and I told him to go back to bed, but I knew he had seen the eggs that were trailing from his room to the living room. So I got him back in bed, went back and laid down... and sure enough after a few minutes I hear his door open and shut. I quietly got up and found him opening the eggs in the hallway, stuffing his face with the jelly beans. Haha... and so we were up! Super early.

For Conference that day we just stayed home and I did REALLY good... until the afternoon session, and both the boys fell asleep. Then I was a goner :/ My amazing husband cleaned the house while we were all asleep, he's amazing :) And I've already listened to the talks I missed... but I feel a little less guilty about that :)
Today we broke out the bubble machine that the boys got to Easter. It didn't matter how cold it was outside... Weston LOVED it :)

And then just a few fun pictures, because why not right?!

Weston is turning into an artist. A tattoo artist.
And a pic of the baby... because he's just so darn cute!

Their first bath together.. success :)
