~WeStOn Is ThReE!!!~

Holy Smokes. Can I just say time goes triple speed once you have kids. They insist on growing up so ridiculously fast it's just insane! So yes, my baby is now a three year old.

The night before his birthday we put up streamers in the house, just like every other year. This year in the morning when we got up to fix the ones that fell Weston actually caught us. He snuck up behind us and goes "uh oh guys, what are you doing?!" Haha I told him he had to go back in so we could record him and he played along quite well :) Here's that video.

After that we started the day like all of his other birthdays, we headed to the zoo. I'm kind of loving the traditions that we have going. It's fun and it gives him something he knows he can look forward to. This year we went with my mom and sister. It was nice and chill, and both the boys loved it.

Both of them admiring the streamers

Seriously, he just woke up looking bigger on his birthday! Who is that kid?!

They really love each other most days

Weston was telling Colton some Tiger story

This pretty much sums up how the trip went :)
All of these were taken on his birthday at the zoo... how is he so big?!

After the zoo we went and had a quick lunch with Rob, and then went back to the house for the boys to nap while I made the cake. That evening was the main party. We reserved a room at Leo's place, a kid play place that has a big toy for the kids to play in, an arcade, awesome food, and those rides you put a quarter in and it rocks back and forth with your kids in it  for a minute...that is Weston's favorite part.

We just invited family, but there were still SO MANY people there! I think 28 was the final number... but I could be missing someone :) Weston is so loved, and so spoiled! The kid made like 15 bucks, and got well over 10 presents. Yeah... kinda spoiled.

Camo cupcakes :) SUCH a process... but so much fun :)

This is how they always talk with each other

Full of excitement!

He's pretty stoked about the backpack from Neena, and SO ready to start preschool now :)

Once the party was finally over we cleaned up and headed home. Both boys were exhausted, but we let Weston open a few of his presents and try them out :) He kept saying over and over all day "Thank you so much for my birthday! This is such a great day! Thank you thank you thank you!" I'd say it was a success :)
